For your consideration, we are proud to offer for sale this 1999 Parker Sonnet Fountain Pen in the iconic Sterling Silver Ciselé pattern, presented in Mint, New Old Stock condition, complete with the original box, literature, converter, and cartridges. This example has never been inked and is fitted with a desirable 18K solid gold Broad nib.
Among modern Parker fountain pens, the Sterling Silver Ciselé Sonnet remains one of the company’s most enduring and recognizable designs. Drawing inspiration from Parker’s legendary Ciselé patterns of earlier decades, this Sonnet captures the timeless elegance of fine sterling silver paired with the refined proportions that made the Sonnet line one of Parker’s most successful modern collections.
The cap and barrel are crafted entirely from solid sterling silver and feature the beautifully executed engine-turned Ciselé pattern with crisp detail and deep black enameled lines throughout. The precision of the engraving combined with the contrast of the black enamel creates a sophisticated visual texture that immediately distinguishes the pen from standard silver models. Complementing the sterling body are the wide gold-plated cap band and matching Parker arrow clip, creating the classic two-tone appearance collectors strongly favor on early Sonnet models.
Condition throughout is exceptional. The cap and barrel remain free from dents, dings, scratches, cracks, or repairs, preserving the sterling silver pattern in pristine form. The friction-fit cap secures firmly to the barrel, and there are no monograms or personal engravings present.
The pen is fully hallmarked as expected for a sterling silver Parker Sonnet. The cap band is crisply engraved with: “PARKER SONNET FRANCE” along with the date code “N,” indicating fourth quarter 1999 production. The reverse side of the cap carries the proper “925” Sterling Silver hallmark along with the French silver assay marks.
The fountain pen measures approximately 5 1/4" inches capped, 5 7/8" inches posted, and weighs 1.08 ounces, offering a refined and exceptionally balanced feel in hand.
Fitted to the pen is a beautiful 18K solid gold two-tone Broad nib, designated “B” on the feed. These nibs are known to provide the smooth writing experience collectors and daily writers alike appreciate in higher-grade Parker fountain pens. The tipping measures approximately 1.06mm when checked with digital calipers. The original Parker converter remains unused and has been water tested to ensure proper operation. Again, this fountain pen nib has never been inked or dipped.
Included with the pen are the original Parker presentation box, Parker literature, unused converter, and two ink cartridges.

With its precious metal construction, classic engraved pattern, desirable wide cap band design, and untouched New Old Stock condition, this Parker Sonnet represents one of the more elegant and collectible modern writing instruments Parker produced at the turn of the millennium.
