Description

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Parker 75 Sterling Silver Keepsake Fountain Pen with Gold-Filled Trim and 14K Gold Medium USA NIB. The Parker Keepsake fountain pen has been cleaned/serviced to write again.

NOTE: The Parker Keepsake was produced for only 2 years, 1967-1968. This particular fountain pen has several features that are not seen on production models; 1) Dished Dimpled Tassies; 2) 925 mark just above the sterling imprint on the cap lip; and, 3) no cap band edging. I am speculating this Parker 75 Keepsake may actually be a Parker prototype or a later production model when Parker made them for the President to sign Treaties with. I purchased this fountain pen at a Janesville, WI auction (home of the Parker factory) two years ago so being an unusual prototype has high possibilities.

The fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no dings, dents, scratching, or repairs with the slip cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The Cap Lip is stamped with, "PARKER 925 STERLING SILVER MADE IN U.S.A. with a Parker Logo". There are no monograms, engravings, or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Parker 75 Keepsake measures 5 1/8" capped and 5 5/8" posted.

This Parker 75 has an ink converter filling unit and I have tested with water and fills as it should. It is a Parker factory ink converter.

The pen is fitted with a 14K Medium nib and is stamped, "PARKER 14K USA". When measuring the actual tip of the 14K NIB it measures at .67mm when measuring with digital calipers. The back of the feed shows the letter "M" for MEDIUM so it measures as it was designated to be.

This Parker 75 Keepsake Fountain Pen is a spectacular fountain pen in Near Mint Condition. This Keepsake has some unusual characteristics that lead me to believe it is a prototype or at least test pen that Parker was trying to try out before it went into production. Regardless, the Parker Keepsake is an amazing pen in fabulous condition and  is ready to write or just add to your writing arsenal collection.
