For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Modern Pelikan M200 Black Fountain Pen New in the Box with sticker/tag. This fountain pen has never been inked, except for my dip test, and always contained in the box from a non-smoking home. I consider this pen in Mint Condition and New Old Stock in original box.

The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful classic black color with Gold Filled trim. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap of this fountain pen displays the gold-plated clip and cap band. The cap is stamped with, "PELIKAN GERMANY". The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel.This Pelikan M200 was manufactured in Germany before 2003 as it has the two chick cap logo on top of the cap. This Pelikan M200 measures 4 7/8" inches in length capped and 5 7/8" inches posted.

This Pelikan M200 features Gold-Plated trim to the cap and barrel all highly polished. The Piston Filler works with such ease and to perfection. This Pelikan piston filler window has a green, water clear, ink window.

The NIB is Steel with a gold-plate overlay with a medium point. The tipping measures .85mm when measured using a digital caliper. I have only dip tested this Pelikan to perform a writing sample, which will write with a medium line of .72mm to a broad stroke of 1.12mm on the widest stroke under medium to firm pressure when measured with digital calipers. The nib is "springy" and very smooth - a great fountain pen to write with.

The Pelikan M200 comes with the original factory box, which is in very good to excellent condition.

This lovely Pelikan M200 is an instant classic in black and gold-plated trim. A very sophisticated pen that writes very well while not breaking the bank. It is ready to write with or add to your writing arsenal collection. Again, it is New Old Stock, Mint Condition, with tags.
