Description

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked 1999 Sheaffer Balance Millennium Edition Fountain Pen in the Marbled blue pattern fitted with an 18K Sheaffer Feathertouch Medium Nib. This fountain pen has never been inked. I consider this fountain pen to be in New Old Stock and Mint Condition with the original box, ink, clock, and hang tag.

This writing instrument is a special edition that Sheaffer made known as the "Sheaffer Balance Millennium Edition". The pen displays a marbled blue acrylic cap and barrel with 22K gold electroplated trim and is fitted with an 18K solid gold Feather Touch nib. The single-banded cap banding is engraved, "Millennium". This fountain pen was sold as a gift set which includes a clock and bottled ink.

This Sheaffer Balance displays a Polished 22K gold electroplated trim fitted with a solid 18K/750 gold FeatherTouch nib. The is no wear to the gold-plated trim and shines brightly. The cap and barrel have absolutely no damage, chips, cracks, repairs, or wear to the finish. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel via threads. The trim is perfect with no scratches or brassing. This fountain pen has never been inked and is in Mint Condition. The cap clip is stamped, "SHEAFFERS". This Fountain Pen measures 5 3/4" inches capped and 6 3/8" posted.

This Sheaffer uses an Ink converter filling system and works as it was designed to - I tested it with water and works perfectly.

The nib is an 18K Sheaffer Feather Touch with a medium point measuring .65mm when measuring with digital calipers. This Sheaffer Nib shows no signs of ever being inked and I wanted to keep it this way for the next collector.

This Sheaffer Millennium Balance Fountain Pen comes with the original box. The inside of the box is very clean with no ink stains. On the outside of the box, the red vinyl is worn in certain areas but is very minor. 

This Sheaffer Millennium Balance Edition Fountain Pen has a great look and feel in the hand with fantastic color. I would consider this Sheaffer to be New Old Stock, Never Inked, and in Mint Condition. A marvelous addition to your writing arsenal collection.
