For your consideration, we are offering for sale this serviced 1990s Waterman Red Woodgrain Ebonie Fountain Pen & Ballpoint Pen Set fitted with an 18K Medium Stub Nib. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned, and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition. The ballpoint pen has a new blue ink refill.

NOTE: Waterman made this set in the 1990s in Ebonite (Hard Rubber) as they did in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

This Waterman Set is in perfect condition with no cracks, damage, or repairs. This fountain pen & ballpoint pen are made from hard rubber in a red wood grain design. The coloring is Red and Black color and displays consistent coloring. The gold-plated cap banding is stamped with, "WATERMAN PARIS". The threads on the cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations on the cap or barrel. This Waterman Liaison Fountain Pen measures 5 5/8" in length capped and 6 3/8" posted. The ballpoint pen measures 5 5/8" inches in length. There is no wear/brassing to any of the gold-filled trim on this fountain pen or ballpoint pen set.

This Waterman Liaison can use an Ink Converter or Cartridges. We have a Waterman branded Ink-Converter contained in the pen.

The NIB on this Waterman Edson is 18K/750 Solid Gold with a Medium Stub point. The tipping measures .89mm when measured using a digital caliper. I have tested this Waterman Liaison to perform a writing sample, which will write with a double extra fine line of .26mm on the horizontal strokes and .99mm on the downward strokes when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Blue Ink.

The Waterman Liaison Pen set comes with a Waterman Box which is in Excellent Condition. Also, the literature booklet and guarantee card comes with it as well.
