Description

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Gorgeous Waterman CF Fountain Pen and Twist Activated Ballpoint Pen in the Silver Moire pattern. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition.

Ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. Polished the outside caps and barrels. Hand cleaned the fountain pen inside cap and barrel.

This fountain pen has a gorgeous and bright white Silver Moire chasing pattern. The chasing is very crisp on both the cap and barrel or each pen. The barrel on both pens is stamped with, "WATERMAN MADE IN FRANCE".

The fountain pen cap is a slip type cap that is always securing to the barrel. The ballpoint pen is a twist activated type that works as designed. There are four letters at the top of each cap that reads, "DCAJ". There are no dings, dents, cracks, nicks or repairs to either pen. This Waterman CF Fountain Pen measures 5 3/8" in length capped and 5 7/8" posted. The ballpoint pen measures 5 3/8" in length.

The fountain pen has a 750/18K Semi-Hooded nib that has a medium point measuring .66mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing the sample in the listing images, the NIB writes with a fine line measuring roughly .47mm with very light pressure and will flex up to a medium line of .87mm with medium pressure when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample provided was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. I have tested the ink converter filling mechanism with water and fills wonderfully. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This Waterman CF set is in Extraordinary Condition that I would condition in Excellent to Near Mint. A superb writing instrument set from the 1950s to add to your writing arsenal collection!
