This Visconti fountain pen has never seen ink and is considered in New Old Stock Mint Condition, in its Presentation case, and with the documentation/warranty card.
NOTE: On July 1–2, 2011, the Principality of Monaco celebrated the historic wedding of HSH Prince Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco, and Miss Charlene Wittstock. To honor this momentous occasion, the royal couple authorized the creation of an exclusive limited-edition fountain pen, designed and handcrafted by Visconti. Drawing inspiration from the Monaco Crown, the design reflects the timeless elegance and refined symbolism that unite the traditions of Monaco and the artistry of Florence. The result is a writing instrument that blends advanced technology with centuries-old craftsmanship, embodying both sophistication and distinction.
The pen is crafted with an ivory resin cap and barrel, delicately overlaid with sterling silver filigree enhanced by 18-karat rose gold plating. This Visconti Fountain Pen is in uninked, mint condition with no wear, dings, dents, scratching, or repairs. The pen is made of natural resin in the ivory color. The trim is sterling silver (except for the clip) and plated in 18K Rose Gold. The cap type is a "threaded" type that secures to the barrel every time. This fountain pen measures 6" capped, 7 1/2" posted. has a diameter of 17mm around the cap banding, and weighs 2.06 ounces.
This fountain pen is a Limited Edition 211 of 388 and is marked on the end of the barrel as seen in the photos.
The nib is marked Visconti with 23K PD 950 Medium Two-Tone Nib. The nib has a Medium point measuring .82mm when using digital calipers. I have never inked this pen and wanted to keep it in uninked, New Old Stock condition for the next owner.
This Visconti uses the patented "power-fill" plunger filling system. I tested it with water and fills as it was designed.
The Fountain Pen comes with the original display box that you see in the images, original plastic pen sleeve, and the Visconti Warranty Card, and Visconti Princely Wedding literature - all of which are in excellent condition.
