For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Mint, Never Inked, in the Box 2012 Montblanc Masters For Meisterstuck Special Edition Sterling & Grenadilla Wood Fountain Pen fitted with an 18K Gold Nib. This fountain pen has never been inked, it comes with the original boxes, and L'Aubrac special edition literature. I consider this fountain pen in New Old Stock, Never Inked Condition! It is guaranteed to be an authentic Montblanc pen.

With the Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück L’Aubrac, Montblanc brings together its quintessential expertise of creating writing instruments with Forge Laguiole, the epitome of traditional French quality knives. A tribute to the finest master craftsmen and their love of artistry: The Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück L’Aubrac Special Edition comprises a Meisterstück LeGrand Fountain Pen crafted from precious grenadilla wood. The famous small rivets, synonymous with the traditional knife handle, have been carefully embellished on the barrel. A historical Laguiole pattern is finely engraved on the rings enhancing the polish of the precious grenadilla wood. Grenadilla is considered to be the finest of all turnery timbers, cutting most exactly and finishing to a brilliant waxed surface. The clip is platinum-plated while the fittings are carefully made in sterling silver. The Montblanc emblem, in mother-of-pearl, and the 18K gold nib round off this Special Edition.

This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, dings, dents, or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap banding is stamped with, "MONTBLANC Pix MEISTERSTUCK".  The blind cap is stamped with, "Ag925 StØD and the 925 Hammer hallmark". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the barrel or cap. This Montblanc L'Aubrac Fountain Pen is a LeGrand (146) size and measures 5 7/8" in length capped and weighs 1.96 ounces.

The clip on this fountain pen is brightly polished platinum-plated while the blind cap, cap banding, and cap finial and sterling silver. The famous Montblanc Snowcap is made of mother-of-pearl. All of these features are polished brightly and are in perfect condition. The section of the pen still retains the original plastic sleeve which you can peel off.

The Montblanc NIB is an 18K/750 Medium Nib. The nib has a Medium point measuring roughly .85mm when measured with digital calipers.  I have not attempted to ink the pen as I wanted to keep it in new old stock, mint, never-inked condition for the next owner of this pen. Rest assured, the Montblanc medium nibs are seriously smooth wonderful writers that offer fantastic ink flow and I am sure this one won't disappoint.

The Montblanc Masters For Meisterstuck Special Edition comes with the original outer and inner boxes, literature, and original plastic sleeve the pen was originally sealed in. 

This Montblanc Masters For Meisterstuck Special Edition Fountain Pen is extremely difficult to acquire due to its limited production. When they come on the market they can command upwards of over $5000 as a "top-of-the-mountain" price. This particular fountain pen will compete with any of those pens at that $4000 to $5000 price point. It has never seen ink and it is in perfect condition!
