For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Excellent Waterman 54 Cardinal Red Hard Rubber Fountain Pen Barrel. I have cleaned and polished the outside of the barrel. There is absolutely no chips, cracks or repairs to this barrel. There is a personalization on the barrel that reads, "FROM U.P.I.G.A. to WM. FORTLAGE 1927". Additionally, the Waterman imprint at the center of the barrel is clear and reads, "WATERMAN'S RED. U.S. IDEAL GLOBE PAT. OFF. FOUNTAIN PEN". The but end of the barrel displays a crisp and clear "54" imprint. I would consider this Cardinal Red Waterman Barrel to be in Very Fine to Excellent. It certainly is an exceptional Waterman Part to complete your pen in a hard to find color and model.
