For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Modern Circa 1990s Waterman Edson Fountain Pen in Sapphire Blue. I have serviced and cleaned this Waterman Edson Fountain Pen by thoroughly taking it apart, cleaned, and put back together. It is now is in wonderful writing condition. This fountain pen has always been contained in a box from a Doctor's non-smoking home. I consider this pen in Near Mint/Mint Condition.

The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful with no wear, nicks, cracks, dings, dents, or scratching. The cap of this fountain pen displays the 23K gold-plated clip that is stamped on the sides with "FRANCE" and Serial Number "08886". The cap lip is stamped with, "WATERMAN PARIS and French Hallmarks". The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Waterman Edson was manufactured in Paris, France in the early to mid-1990s. This Waterman Edson measures 6" inches in length capped and 6 1/8" inches posted.

This Waterman Edson can use an Ink Converter or Cartridges and we the Waterman Ink-Converter contained in the pen.

The NIB on this Waterman Edson is 18K/750 Solid Gold with a Medium point. The tipping measures .84mm when measured using a digital caliper. I have tested this Waterman Edson to perform a writing sample, which will write with a very smooth medium line of .62mm on the horizontal strokes and .88mm on downward strokes when measured with digital calipers. The 18K nib is very smooth and such a fabulous fountain pen to write with.
