This Waterman has a Red Keyhole Nib Made in the USA. The Red color coded Waterman Nib is known for being Medium and Flexible when writing and is coveted by collectors. The iridium tipping is in excellent condition with the point measuring .65mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing the sample in the listing images, the NIB writes with a medium line with very light pressure measuring roughly .60mm and will flex upwards to a triple broad stroke of 2.38mm with medium to firm pressure when measured with digital calipers. The Nib has excellent responsiveness and writes very smoothly - overall a great pen to write with. The writing sample provided was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This is antique Waterman #7 Fountain Pen is in ready to write condition using the incredible flexible NIB. I would consider the condition of this fountain pen to grade in excellent condition and certainly one of the cleanest fountain pens I have handled. This Waterman #7 is collector grade and would be an example to add to your writing arsenal collection.
