For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Fabulous Restored Circa 1930 Waterman Lady Patricia Fountain Pen in the Moss Agate Celluloid. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition. The color of the celluloid is outstanding!

This fountain pen is made from celluloid in the moss agate (green & bronze) pattern. The coloring on the cap and barrel really displays fabulously - the colors pop! The barrel imprint at the center of the barrel is crisp and clean that reads, "WATERMAN'S REG. U.S. IDEAL GLOBE LOGO PAT. OFF MADE IN USA FOUNTAIN PEN".

The threads on the cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly. I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. Hand cleaned the inside of the barrel and cap. Cleaned, Buffed, Polished, and Waxed the outside of the cap and barrel to bring back the vibrancy of the material and to protect the celluloid. Replaced the old rubber sac with a new, silicone sac. Hand polished the Gold Filled Clip, Cap Banding, and Lever Box Assembly along with the Waterman Ideal 14K #2 NIB. There is a "hint" of wear on the edge of the cap band on the backside - very minor but point it out for clarity sake. There are no personalizations or monograms either the cap or the barrel. There are no cracks, nicks or repairs to the celluloid. This Waterman Lady Patricia measures 4 1/4" in length capped and 5 3/8" posted.

The lever and box assembly have been cleaned and oiled. I have tested the filling mechanism with water and fills wonderfully.

This Waterman 14K Ideal nib has some great flexibility all while writing smoothly. When measuring the actual tip of the 14K Ideal #2 NIB, it measures at .77mm with digital calipers. When writing the sample in the listing images, the NIB writes with an extra fine line measuring roughly .43mm with very light pressure and flexes up to a triple broad+ stroke of 2.10mm with a firm to medium pressure. The writing sample provided was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. This nib writes smoothly with a wet line. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This vintage Waterman Lady Patricia Fountain Pen is a harder to find color in the Moss Agate especially in this type of condition. I would consider the condition of this fountain pen to be excellent+. A fantastic collector grade addition to your writing arsenal collection.
