Description

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this New Old Stock Circa 1956 Parker 41 Fountain Pen with Brushed Stainless Cap and Turquoise color in the original box that has never been inked. I consider this to be New Old Stock and Mint Condition.

This fountain pen was part of a purchase from a Parker employee estate where I acquired nearly 75 New Old Stock Fountain Pens from the 1940 to 1950s era - this is just one of them. Finding any pen that has never been inked from this era, let alone one that is in the desired color like this one, is a scarce and uncommon find.

This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks, paint loss, or repairs. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. I have not touched the fountain pen to buff or polish it - the Aerometric filling system is in perfect working order and is factory original. There is no wear to the cap or the clip. This Parker 41 is a full-size pen that measures 5 3/8" in length capped and 5 5/8" posted.

The Octanium Parker NIB is a Medium Nib. The point measures roughly .66mm when measured with digital calipers. I have not written with this Nib - I wanted to keep this Fountain Pen in New Old Stock, Mint Condition for the new collector that acquires this one.

The Aerometric filling system has been tested for functionality - I have tested the filling mechanism with water and fills as it should. The filling system has perfect suction and works flawlessly. The filling system is the original Parker Factory one and original to the pen and works just as the day it left the factory.

The pen comes in the original box which is in fair condition.

This Parker 41 Fountain Pen in the Turquoise Color with perfect brushed stainless cap and never been inked. It is in ready-to-write condition or just add to your writing arsenal collection. I would consider this Parker 41 to be in New Old Stock, Mint Condition.
