For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored Circa 1929 Parker Junior Duofold Fountain Pen in Black Veined & Pearl Celluloid. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned and put back together and is now in wonderful writing condition.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. Replaced the old sac with a new, properly sized Silicone sac. Hand polished the Gold Filled Parker Clip, Three Ring Cap Banding, and 18Ct Duofold NIB. Cleaned, Buffed, Polished and Waxed the barrel, blind cap and cap to bring back the vibrancy of fountain pen and to protect the Celluloid. This Parker Duofold is the Junior Size and measures 4 5/8" capped and 5 7/8" posted.

The fountain pen cap, barrel, and blind cap are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The Cap has a Gold Filled Parker Clip with PAT SEPT 5 - 16 stamped and has been polished to shine bright and displays no brassing. The cap banding displays rich gold filled color with no brassing. The barrel is clearly and crisply stamped with, "GEO. S. PARKER DUOFOLD JR. FOUNTAIN PEN TORONTO, CANADA LUCKY CURVE". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The color of this Parker is exceptional - it is very difficult to find examples in the Black Veined Pearl Celluloid that are this clean.

This Duofold has a button filling mechanism and I have tested with water and fills as it should. Works fantastic and as designed to.

This is the fun part of this Duofold. The Parker Duofold NIB is A CANADIAN 18Ct that writes extremely smooth and lays down a wet line. The actual writing portion (iridium) of the 18Ct Parker NIB has a medium point measuring roughly .63mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with a fine to triple broad stroke/line. In the writing sample provided, the fine line measures at .56mm and the triple broad line measures at 1.81mm with medium to firm pressure when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This is an Iconic vintage Parker Duofold Fountain Pen in the Jr size. It is a scarce Duofold due to the condition of the Black Veined Pearl celluloid material. I would consider this Parker to grade in Excellent Condition. Hard pressed to find another in this type of condition. It is ready to write or just add it to your writing arsenal collection.
