For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Vintage CIRCA 1966 Parker 75 Sterling Silver Crosshatch Grid pattern Fountain Pen with Gold Plate Trim and 14K Gold 66 USA NIB in original box . This fountain pen has never been ink and I consider it in Mint Condition.
I have cleaned and polished the barrel and cap to bring back the shine of the metal. This Parker 75 displays brightly and in incredibly great condition. This Parker 75 is a Crosshatch Grid Pattern model made between 1964 to 1993 - this is an early model due to the enameling in the grids, flat tassies, and the Model 66 nib. This Parker 75 measures 5 1/8" capped and 5 5/8" posted.
The fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no dings, dents, or repairs with the slip cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The Cap Lip is stamped with, "PARKER PARKER LOGO STERLING SILVER MADE IN U.S.A.". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel.
This Parker 75 has an ink converter filling unit and I have tested with water and fills as it should. It is a Parker factory ink converter.
The pen is fitted with a 14K Model 66 nib (medium) and is stamped, "PARKER 14K USA". When measuring the actual tip of the 18K NIB it measures at .78mm when measuring with digital calipers. The back of the feed shows the number "66" for MEDIUM so it measures as it was designated to be. The pen has never been inked so I wanted to keep it that way for the new collector.
The Parker 75 comes with the original box which displays in very good condition.
This Parker 75 Crosshatch Grid Fountain Pen is beautiful and a classy fountain pen. I would consider this Parker 75 to grade in to Mint Condition. It will be hard to beat a better Parker 75 pen than this one. It is ready to write or just add to your writing arsenal collection.
