PELIKAN M605 SOUVERAN DARK BLUE FOUNTAIN PEN 14K EXTRA FINE NIB NEW OLD STOCK

$300.00
For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 2003 Pelikan M605 Souveran Dark Blue Fountain Pen New in the Box with Papers. This fountain pen has never been inked, except for my dip test, and always contained in the box from a non-smoking home. I consider this pen in Mint Condition and New Old Stock in original box.

The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful dark blue color, polished with a high shine. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap of this fountain pen displays the palladium plated clip and cap bands. The cap is stamped with, "PELIKAN, SOUVERAN, GERMANY". The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Pelikan M605 Souveran was manufactured in Germany around 2003, this model was produced between 2003 and 2015 but it has the two chicks cap logo which was discontinued in 2003. This Pelikan M605 measures 5 1/4" inches in length capped and 6 1/8" inches posted.

This Pelikan M605 features Palladium plated trim to the cap and barrel all highly polished. The Piston Filler works with such ease and perfectly.

The NIB is 14C - 585 solid gold two-tone with an extra-fine point, .53mm when I measured using a digital caliper. This Pelikan is a Piston Filler and has a smokey, water clear, ink window. I have only dip tested this Pelikan to perform a writing sample, which will write with an extra fine/fine line of .45mm on the horizontal strokes to .91mm on the widest stroke under medium to firm pressure when measured with digital calipers. The nib is "springy" and great to write with.

The Pelikan M605 comes with the original factory box, which is in very good to excellent condition.

This is a beautiful Pelikan Souveran M605 in Dark Blue that really makes a statement. It is ready to write or add to your writing arsenal collection. Certainly, this is a pen that you can cherish and pass down from generation to generation. Again, it is New Old Stock, Mint Condition, with a 14K two-tone Nib.
