Twist the nose cone and the lead will propel from the nose cone and turning the opposite way will retract the lead back inside. The erasers has some use but intact and complete.
There is a red band on one side of the pencil and no band on the other side of the pencil.
This Sheaffer Double Ended Pencil is such a unique and scarce writing instrument from Sheaffer with only a few known to exist. These are tough to find and I would consider this Sheaffer Pencil to grade in Excellent+ Condition.
