RESTORED 1941 PARKER AZURE PEARL VACUMATIC DEBUTANTE DOUBLE JEWEL FOUNTAIN PEN

$210.00
For your consideration we are offering for sale this 1941 Parker Azure Blue Pearl Celluloid Double Jewel Debutante Fountain Pen in restored condition. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, section, breather tube, cap and barrel. Replaced the old diaphragm with a new, properly sized one. Hand polished the Diamond Clip, Gold Filled Cap Band and 14K NIB. Buffed and Polished the barrel and cap to bring back the vibrancy of fountain pen.

This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks or repairs. The cap has the Diamond split arrow gold filled clip with no brassing. The cap banding is gold filled and display a great color. The top and bottom jewels are black and have a beautiful shine to them. The barrel is clearly stamped with, "Geo. S. Parker Vacumatic Made in U.S.A. with date code 1 in the first quarter". The transparency of the barrel is excellent, albeit ambered. The blind cap securely fits. There is a monograms on the barrel that reads, "J. Slette". This Parker Vacumatic measures 4 5/8" in length capped and 5 1/2" posted. The Vacumatic Filling System works great, typically in my tests with water about 4 to 5 presses and it will fill full.

The 14K Parker Arrow NIB has a medium point measuring roughly .77mm, measured with digital calipers. The NIB on this Parker writes extremely smooth, in my opinion. The 14K NIB is in beautiful condition and has the same 1941, 1st Quarter Date code as the barrel. The writing sample provided, the thinnest line roughly measures at a fine .49mm stroke and the broadest line measured with digital calipers is coming in at a medium stroke of roughly .81mm with medium pressure. The sample was done with the actual pen in the images that is listed for sale. I have tested the filling mechanism with water and fills as it should. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Black Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This is a beautiful vintage Parker Vacumatic Fountain Pen in the Azure Blue Pearl Celluloid that is in Excellent Restored Condition. It is ready to write or just add it to writing arsenal collection.
