For your consideration we are offering for sale this Fantastic RESTORED 1944 Parker Duofold Senior Fountain Pen in Green-Gold Celluloid. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, section, breather tube, cap and barrel. Replaced the old diaphragm with a new, properly sized one. Hand polished the Gold Filled Blue Diamond Clip, Chevron Cap Banding and 14K "V" NIB. Buffed and Polished the barrel and cap to bring back the vibrancy of fountain pen and, indeed, it looks fantastic.

This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks or repairs. The cap has the Blue Diamond Gold Filled clip with no brassing. The Gold Filled Chevron Cap Band displays a wonderful gold filled color, also, with no brassing. The top jewel is black and polished to a great shine The barrel is clearly stamped with, "PARKER DUOFOLD MADE IN U.S.A. with date code 4 in the third quarter". The transparency of the barrel is great and one can see through it clearly, albeit does has minor ambering . The blind cap securely fits. There are no personalizations or monograms on the fountain pen. This Senior Parker Duofold Fountain Pen measures 5 3/8" in length capped and 6 1/8" posted.

The Vacu-Fill System works great, typically in my tests with water about 5 to 6 presses and it will roughly 7/8 full. This Vacu-Fill unit is in excellent condition; it operates smoothly and works flawlessly.

The 14K Parker "V" NIB has a fine point measuring roughly .58mm, measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample the NIB writes with a fine line and very smoothly. The writing sample provided in the image has a extra fine stroke that measures .35mm and can flex to a medium stroke of roughly .86mm with normal pressure; see image. The sample was done with the actual pen in the images that is listed for sale. I have tested the filling mechanism with water and fills as it should. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Black Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This is a gorgeous, vintage RESTORED Parker Duofold Fountain Pen in the Green-Gold Celluloid and would grade it in the Excellent Condition. It is ready to write or just add to writing arsenal collection.
