For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored Circa 1931 Parker Duofold Juniorette Fountain Pen in this amazing Blue on White Lapis Celluloid. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned and put back together and is now in wonderful writing condition.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. Replaced the old sac with a new, properly sized silicone sac as to preserve the color of the celluloid. Hand polished the Gold Filled Parker Clip, 3-Ring Cap Banding, and 14K Duofold NIB. Cleaned, Buffed, Polished and Waxed the barrel, blind cap and cap to bring back the vibrancy of fountain pen and to protect the Celluloid. This Parker Duofold is the Juniorette Size and measures 4 1/2" capped and 5 5/8" posted.

The fountain pen cap, barrel, and blind cap are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The Cap has a Gold Filled Parker stamped on the clip and has been polished to shine bright and displays no brassing. The cap banding displays rich gold filled color, again, with no brassing. The barrel is stamped clearly with, "GEO. S. PARKER DUOFOLD MADE IN U.S.A. PATENTED". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The Lapis White on Blue color is Mint - I have only seen color like this on maybe 2 Duofolds in my time, this is a Special Pen due to the condition.

This Duofold has a button filling mechanism and I have tested with water and fills as it should. Works as it is designed to.

The Parker Duofold NIB is 14K and writes with a wet, smooth stroke. The actual writing portion (iridium) of the 14K Parker NIB has a medium point measuring roughly .85mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with a medium to double broad stroke/line. In the writing sample provided, the medium line measures at .65mm and the double broad line measures at 1.28mm with medium to firm pressure when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This vintage Parker Lapis Streamline Duofold Fountain Pen is exceptional in the condition and color. I would consider this Parker to grade in Excellent to Near Mint Condition. It is certainly collector grade and writes wonderfully. It is ready to write or just add it to your writing arsenal collection.
