For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked Sheaffer Balance II Limited Edition Fountain Pen in the Green-Gray and Red pattern fitted with an 18K Sheaffer Lifetime Medium Nib. This fountain pen has never been inked and always contained in the box from a non-smoking person's home. I consider this pen New Old Stock and Mint Condition with original box with Sheaffer documentation.

This Sheaffer Balance II displays a Polished 23K gold electroplated trim fitted with a solid 18K/750 gold nib. The cap and barrel have absolutely no damage, dents, wear to the finish. This fountain pen has never been inked and in Mint Condition. This Fountain Pen measures 5 9/16" inches capped and 6 7/16" posted.

This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Balance II Fountain Pen and is a Limited Edition number 2982 out of 6000 with production from 1997. Again, this Sheaffer Balance II is like new as it has never been inked. The cap has 23K gold electroplated clip and cap banding. "W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO FORT MADISON, IOWA USA MADE IN USA 2982 OF 6000" is stamped on the barrel. The cap clip is 23K Gold Electroplating and stamped, "SHEAFFERS". This Sheaffer has the Lever Filling system and works as it was designed to - I tested with water and works perfectly.

The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel. The trim is perfect with no scratches or brassing.

The nib is an 18K Sheaffer Lifetime with a medium point measuring .60mm when measuring with digital calipers. This Sheaffer Nib shows no signs of ever being inked. The Nib does show a hint of flex - it is a nice surprise.

This Sheaffer Balance II Fountain Pen comes with the original box with and Sheaffer documentation. There is a spot for an Ink Bottle but there is not that is accompanying this pen.

This Sheaffer Balance II Fountain Pen has a great look and feel in the hand with fantastic color. I would consider this Sheaffer Balance II to be New Old Stock, Never Inked and in Mint Condition. A marvelous addition to your writing arsenal collection.
