For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 1998 Sheaffer Connaisseur Tasman Turquoise Fountain Pen New in the Box. This fountain pen has never been inked and always contained in the box from a non-smoking home. I consider this pen in Mint Condition and New Old Stock with original boxes and Sheaffer documentation.

Around 1998 Sheaffer made a "SEA" series of Connaisseur pens for the Florida-based office supply company Levenger. Six finishes completed the first series all named after the seas around the globe, these pens were made from a transparent resin and named Connaisseur Seas. This particular Sheaffer Connaisseur is known as the Tasman Turquoise color, Model 826.

The barrel and cap are gorgeous with beautiful translucent turquoise color, polished with a high shine. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap of this fountain pen carries the "white dot", Sheaffer's lifetime guarantee symbol and the pen has been untouched in the box for the last 20+ years. The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Sheaffer Connaisseur measures 5 5/8" inches in length capped and 6 5/8" inches posted.

This Sheaffer features a 23K Gold Electroplated clip and double ring cap banding all highly polished. The NIB is 14K solid gold with a Medium point, .78mm when I measured using a digital caliper. This pen can be used with ink cartridges or the accompanying piston ink-converter as seen in the image. I have never inked the pen and wanted to keep it in Mint Condition.

The ink converter is unused and ready for your ink.

The factory box is also in new condition. Everything you see in this listing is in Mint Condition.

This is a beautiful Sheaffer Connaisseur in Tasman Turquoise really makes a statement. It is ready to write or add to your writing arsenal collection. Certainly, this is a pen that you can cherish and pass down from generation to generation. Again, it is New Old Stock, Mint Condition, with a 14K Medium Nib.
