For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Beautifully Serviced Circa 1956-1969 Parker 61 Fountain Pen with Capillary Filling System. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, section, and capillary filling unit. Hand polished the Gold Filled Arrow Clip, Lustraloy Cap and 14K NIB. Cleaned, Buffed, Polished and Waxed the barrel and cap to bring back the vibrancy and to protect the material of fountain pen. This Parker 61 measures 5 1/2" in length capped and 5 7/8" posted.

This fountain pen cap and barrel in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap is a Lustraloy type with Gold Filled Arrow Clip. The barrel is a classic red color. Both the top and bottom jewels are a pearlized color and have been polished to bring back a gorgeous shine. The cap is stamped with, "PARKER MADE IN U.S.A." There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel.

The Capillary Filling System has been flushed and is ready for your ink.

The Parker NIB is a 14K gold with the actual tip/writing portion having a fine point measuring roughly .48mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample, this NIB writes with a fine stroke measuring at .52mm when measured with digital calipers under normal writing pressure. The sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This Parker 61 Fountain Pen is restored back to wonderful writing condition in a Classic Red color. I grade this Parker Vac in Very Fine to Excellent Condition. It is complete, ready to write with or just add to writing arsenal collection.
